About Kitle Products

Where is Kitle based?

Kitle is an Australian business with a workshop in Melbourne, Victoria. All design, research and manufacturing of kits happens at Kitle HQ.

What are the kits made from?

We make our kits from premium birch plywood and aluminium extrusions. Components are bolted or screwed together. No glues are used in the process. Our material choice provides an incredibly strong and durable kit with a very fine finish.

Will the kit fit my vehicle?

Our camping kits are designed to fit most medium to large vans. The kits will fit most vans with a distance between wheel arches on the floor of 1200mm. Please contact us if you have any questions.

How easy are the kits to install?

Very! Our kits are simply lifted into place and either strapped down or bolted to your floor.

Do you offer installation?

Yes we can install the kit in your car free of charge from our Melbourne workshop. Select free pickup in checkout and we’ll arrange a time with you.

Do I need 12V power for my kit?

The Kitle Flex is designed to fit a 12V drawer fridge. If purchased with a kit, we supply the fridge with an Anderson plug fitted. You will then need to supply your own power source by purchasing an all in one power system or build a custom setup in the kit. We’ve provided space inside the kit for these solutions.

Does Kitle supply 12V power systems?

We offer the Dometic Portable Battery as a solution for 12V power.

Do you do custom vehicle fitouts?

Our product range is designed as a standalone unit that provides a highly functional camping experience from your van with the benefit of quick installation with no vehicle modifications required. When not out camping, the kits can be quickly transformed to everday storage solutions for your vehicle or removed completely.

With this in mind we, we don’t offer a complete custom designed fitout service. However we can sometimes make adjustments to our products to fit a unique vehicle or requirement. Contact us at hello@kitle.com.au to find out more.
